Effective date: October 2, 2026
These Membership Terms are an agreement between you and Breakthru LLC, doing business as The Champion (“The Champion,” “we,” “us”), 39400 Murrieta Hot Springs Rd, STE 123A, Murrieta, CA 92563. They cover the Champion Beer Club, the Champion Whiskey Club and the combined Beer Club + Whiskey Club (each a “Membership”). Our Website Conditions of Use and Privacy Policy also apply. If they conflict with these Membership Terms on anything about your Membership, these Membership Terms control.
1. Eligibility
- You must be 21 or older to join, hold or use a Membership.
- You must give your true legal name, date of birth, email and mobile number. Your date of birth must match a valid government-issued photo ID.
- One Membership per person. A Membership belongs to one named individual and cannot be shared, transferred, resold or gifted.
2. Plans and price
| Plan | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Champion Beer Club | $29.99 per month | Beer Club benefits |
| Champion Whiskey Club | $24.99 per month | Whiskey Club benefits |
| Champion Beer Club + Whiskey Club | $49.99 per month | Beer Club and Whiskey Club benefits |
| Champion Beer Club + Whiskey Club (Annual) | $499.00 per year | Beer Club and Whiskey Club benefits. Offered only to current members with at least 90 days of continuous membership (Section 3.5). Not sold to new members. |
The price shown at checkout is the amount charged each billing period. If we ever add sales tax as a separate line, we will treat it as a price change under Section 8.
3. Automatic renewal
- Your Membership is a monthly subscription. It renews automatically every month and continues until you cancel.
- We charge your first month when you join, then the same amount on the same calendar day each month (your “billing date”) to the payment method you provided.
- There is no minimum commitment or cancellation fee.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Annual plan. After 90 days of continuous membership on any plan, you may switch to the Annual plan from your My Membership page. When you switch, we charge the annual price that day, less a credit for the unused part of your current month, and your membership year starts that day. The Annual plan renews automatically every 12 months on that date and continues until you cancel. We will email you 15 to 45 days before each annual renewal with the renewal date, the amount and how to cancel. The Annual plan is not available to new members and is not offered on our public pages.
4. Beer Club benefits
- Monthly 4-pack: 4 premium or craft cans to-go for each paid month. The lineup rotates monthly and is posted on your My Membership page. If you don’t pick up a month’s 4-pack, it carries over to the next paid month only, then expires. Pick-up is at The Champion during business hours. Cans are sold sealed. No shipping or delivery.
- 15% off drafts at The Champion.
- Beer of the Month featured pour at member pricing.
- 25% off packaged beer to-go.
- 1 pour included when you attend a ticketed event. You must buy your own event ticket. One included pour per member per ticketed event night.
- Early access to limited-release cans before the public, while supplies last. Quantities may be limited per member.
- Free access to designated special events. Designated events are listed on your My Membership page. Admission is subject to capacity. Private events, buyouts and events produced by outside organizations are not included unless we list them.
- Birthday draft included once per calendar year, during your birthday month.
5. Whiskey Club benefits
- Whiskey of the Month: one featured 1.5 oz pour included for each paid month. Unused pours do not carry over.
- $2–$3 off pours from the designated Whiskey Club menu. The discount for each item is shown on that menu.
- Access to limited allocations and special bottles while available. These are served by the pour at The Champion only. Distilled spirits are never sold to-go.
- Member pricing on whiskey flights.
- Quarterly Guided Tasting: one guided whiskey tasting included each calendar quarter (January–March, April–June, July–September, October–December). Dates are posted on your My Membership page. Seating is subject to capacity. A missed tasting does not carry over.
6. How benefits work
- Show your card and ID. To use any benefit, show your digital member card from My Membership and a valid photo ID. Staff record each included item when it is redeemed.
- Member month. On monthly plans, monthly allowances follow your billing date, not the calendar month. On the Annual plan, monthly allowances follow the calendar month.
- Personal use only. Included items and member pricing are for the member only. The member must be present. They cannot be transferred, resold, exchanged for cash or credit, or saved beyond the carry-over in Section 4.1.
- Combining offers. Member discounts do not combine with Happy Hour or other promotions unless we say so.
- Substitutions. Products, lineups, events and allocations depend on availability. We may substitute an item of similar type and quality.
- Benefits require an active, paid Membership. If a payment fails, benefits pause until it is paid.
7. Responsible service
- We follow California alcohol law. We will not serve, or provide any included item to, anyone who appears intoxicated or cannot show valid ID. A benefit withheld for these reasons is not refunded or carried over.
- To-go items must stay sealed. Do not open them on our premises or in a vehicle.
- Never drink and drive.
8. Changes to price, benefits or these terms
- Price changes. We will email you at least 7 days and no more than 30 days before a price change takes effect. The notice will state the new price, when it starts and how to cancel. If you don’t cancel, the new price applies from your next billing date after the effective date.
- Material changes. We will also give you advance notice of any material change to your benefits or these Membership Terms, with instructions on how to cancel.
- Program changes. We may end a Membership plan or the whole program with at least 30 days’ email notice. Billing stops when it ends. If it ends partway through a month you have paid for, we will refund the unused part of that month.
9. Cancellation
- Cancel anytime online: log in to My Membership and select Cancel membership. No call or visit is required.
- Cancelling stops all future charges. Your benefits continue through the end of the member month, or on the Annual plan the membership year, you already paid for.
- You can also email us to cancel.
- You can undo a cancellation before your paid month ends.
10. Refunds
- Fees already paid are not refunded, in full or in part, except as stated in Sections 8.3, 10.4 and 11.2 or required by law.
- If you upgrade (for example, from Beer Club to Beer Club + Whiskey Club), you are charged the prorated difference for the rest of your current month right away. If you switch to a lower plan, any credit is applied to future charges.
- If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 60 days of the charge. We will review it and correct any error.
- Annual plan early termination. If you are on the Annual plan and would rather end your membership now than let it run to the end of your paid year, email us from the address on your account. We will cancel your membership and refund the unused full calendar months remaining in your paid year, at one-twelfth of the annual price for each full month ($41.58). The month in which you ask, and any month already started, is not refunded. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 10 business days. Benefits end on the date we process the request.
11. Suspension and termination
- We may suspend or end your Membership right away if you misrepresent your age or identity, share or transfer your card, misuse benefits, use a payment method you are not authorized to use, violate our house rules, or harass or endanger guests or staff.
- If we end your Membership for these reasons, we do not refund the current month. If we end your Membership for any other reason, we refund the unused part of the current month.
- We may refuse entry or service to anyone, as allowed by law.
12. Failed payments
If a payment fails, Stripe may retry it over the following days. We email you to update your card. Benefits are paused while payment is past due. If payment cannot be collected, the subscription is canceled.
13. Closures
Benefits are available during our posted business hours. We are not responsible for benefits you can’t use because of closures, private buyouts, holidays, power outages, emergencies or events outside our control. If we expect to be closed to the public for more than 14 days in a row, we will pause billing for that time.
14. Communications
By joining, you agree to receive email about your Membership, including receipts, renewal notices, price-change notices and service messages. These are not marketing. We will only send marketing texts if you separately opt in under our SMS terms. Opting in is never a condition of membership.
15. Your account
Keep your login private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has used it. To correct your name or date of birth, ask a manager and show valid ID.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the Membership program is limited to the Membership fees you paid in the 3 months before the claim. This does not limit liability for personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or willful misconduct, or for anything else California law does not allow us to limit.
17. Disputes
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue. These terms are governed by California law. You may bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies. Otherwise, disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts in Riverside County, California.
18. General
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Website Conditions of Use and Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement about your Membership.
